FPF2165R Description
The FPF2165R is a load switch that offers complete protection to systems and loads that may be exposed to high current fluctuations. A 0.12 Q current-limited P-channel MOSFET with an input voltage range of 1.8-5.5 V is included in the device. When the MOSFET is turned off and the output voltage is higher than the input voltage, the current is prevented from flowing internally. A logic input (ON) capable of interacting directly with low-voltage control signals controls the switch. When a prolonged over-current condition creates high heating, the FPF2165R features thermal shutdown protection, which shuts off the switch to prevent damage to the part.
