BUL146 Overview
As the DC current gain is the ratio of the collector current to the base current, for this device the DC current gain is 14 @ 500mA 5V.As it features a collector emitter saturation voltage of 930mV, it allows for maximum design flexibility.VCE saturation indicates Ic is at maximum level (saturated), whereas vce saturation (Max) indicates there is no saturation. The base voltage of the emitter can be kept at 9V to achieve high efficiency. As defined by current rating, the maximum current a fuse can carry without deteriorating too much is 8A for this device. The part has a transition frequency of 14MHz.Single BJT transistor is possible to have a collector current as low as 6A volts at Single BJT transistors maximum.
