In this device, the DC current gain is 380 @ 2mA 5V, which is calculated by taking the ratio of the base current to collector current and dividing transistor by two.A collector emitter saturation voltage of -45V ensures maximum design flexibility.Saturation of VCE means Ic is at its maximum value (saturated), and VCE saturation (Max) is 500mV @ 5mA, 100mA.Single BJT transistor is recommended to keep the continuous collector voltage at -100mA in order to achieve high efficiency.The base voltage of the emitter can be kept at -5V to achieve high efficiency.Its current rating is -100mA, which means that it can sustain a maximum current for an indefinite period of time without degrading too much.In extreme cases, the collector current can be as low as 100mA volts.
