The pin count of this electronic component is 4. To maximize efficiency, proximity sensors should have their supply voltage set to 24V. A proximity sensor can operate at a temperature of -40°C. There can be no higher temperature for the proximity sensors than 85°C. It is important that the rate of the proximity sensor be set at 1.5kHz so that the proximity sensor switch can function properly. The proximity sensors work best when the reed switch's internal contacts pass 200mA current. In DC circuits, the proximity sensors can be operated at a maximum voltage of 55V. A DC circuit with proximity sensors should not produce a current below 10V, otherwise, the circuit will present a safety hazard.
