S9S12G64AMLF Description
The MC9S12G-Family is a 16-bit automotive microcontroller product line that has been developed for cheap cost, excellent performance, and few pins. High-end 8-bit microcontrollers and high-performance 16-bit microcontrollers, like the MC9S12XS-Family, are designed to be bridged by this family. Target markets for the MC9S12G-Family include general automotive applications that demand CAN or LIN/J2602 connectivity. Body controllers, occupant detection, door modules, seat controllers, RKE receivers, smart actuators, lighting modules, and smart junction boxes are typical examples of these applications.
Many of the features present in the MC9S12XS- and MC9S12P-Families are also used by the MC9S12G-Family, including error correction code (ECC) on flash memory, a quick analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and a frequency modulated phase locked loop (IPLL) that enhances EMC performance.
