The MCIMX7D5EVM10SD is the industry's first device to use both the ARM Cortex-A7 and Cortex-M4 cores for general-purpose programmable processing. Customers benefit from its eterogeneous asymmetric design because it enables a single-chip solution that can run sophisticated operating systems and provide real-time responsiveness. When dividing system resources such as memory and peripherals, the i.MX 7 series includes four independently controlled resource domains for optimal efficacy and security. NXP's companion power management ICs support the i.MX 7 series (PMICs).
