MC9S12XDT256CAL belongs to the family of S12XD automotive and industrial microcontrollers (MCUs) developed by NXP Semiconductors / Freescale. Its 32-bit performance (up to 80 MHz) and a 16-bit MCU makes it ideally suitable for automotive multiplexing and mid-range body applications where the flash from 64 KB to 512 KB is essentially required. MC9S12XDT256CAL microcontroller is characterized by low power consumption, excellent electromagnetic compatibility performance, and efficient code size. The power consumption is adjustable to meet specific operational requirements through a phase-lock loop (PLL) circuit.
