MC36251 Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in Radial packages. ldeally, the PTC thermistors should operate at -40°C. There must be no temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to function. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 30V when they are operating. DC circuits use thermistors rated at 30V voltage. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 900mW heat.
