MC36227 Overview
To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape as a safety measure. Temperature -40°C is the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. This thermistor must not operate above 85°C in order for it to work. A PTC thermistor could provide 33V voltage when operating. When this thermistor is functioning, it can provide 33V. thermistors have been rated for 6V in DC circuits. When PTC thermistors produce heat, they should be at 1.5W. It is not recommended that PTC thermistors operate above 40A current. The maximum voltage that this thermistor should supply is 33V.
