MC33172 Overview
The PTC thermistors are put into Radial packages to protect the devices from damage. The minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors should be set to -40°C. To make sure this thermistor works, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. In the DC circuit, the voltage for which these thermistors have been rated is 90V. The heat produced by PTC thermistors should be 450mW.
