MC33152 Overview
For protection, PTC thermistors are contained in Radial packages. In general, the PTC thermistors should be set to -40°C as their minimum operating temperature. A thermistor must not operate at temperatures exceeding 85°C in order for it to function properly. In the event that the PTC thermistors are operating, they can deliver 16V voltage. This is due to the fact that these thermistors have been rated for voltages of 16V in DC circuits. A PTC thermistor should produce an amount of heat equal to 2.4W.
