MCP7940N-I/SN Description
MCP7940N-I/SN developed by Microchip Technology is a type of battery-backed I2C Real-Time Clock/Calendar (RTCC) with SRAM. It is specifically designed to track time using internal counters for hours, minutes, seconds, days, months, years, and days of the week. It supports I2C communications up to 400 kHz to ensure usage and configuration. Frequency variance caused by crystal tolerance and temperature can be adjusted based on on-chip digital trimming.
