LX2410AILD-TR manufactured by Microchip Technology is a member of the 10A IDEALTM bypass device with an extremely low voltage drop. It is able to provide a bypass path for a string with a voltage up to 33V. EMI radiating can be eliminated from PV module strings based on the patented non-hiccup control. It is housed in a thin package with 0.7mm max thickness and then mounted inside solar PV modules for the purpose of shrinking the junction box and minimizing system expense. Lifetime robustness and reliability can be maximized based on its only bidirectional surge protection.
