LAN8720AI-CP Description
LAN8720AI-CP developed by Microchip Technology is a type of physical layer (PHY) transceiver featuring variable I/O voltage that is compliant with the IEEE 802.3-2005 standards. Autonegotiation is implemented to automatically determine the best possible speed and duplex mode of operation. With an integrated 3.3V to 1.2V linear regulator, the LAN8720AI-CP transceiver can be configured to operate on a single 3.3V supply. Because the linear regulator may be optionally disabled, a high efficiency external regulator can be used for lower system power dissipation.
