AT89C51AC2-RLTUM developed by Microchip Technology is a microcontroller containing a programmable 32 KB Flash memory block for program and data. This 32 KB Flash memory can be programmed either in parallel or serial mode with programming voltage internally generated from the standard VCC pin. The clock frequency can be brought down to any value, even DC, without loss of data, thus the system power consumption can be reduced based on the fully static design. The two software-selectable modes ensure reduced activity and an 8-bit clock Prescaler delivers a further reduction in power consumption. The AT89C51AC2-RLTUM microcontroller is well suited for applications requiring A/D conversion, pulse width modulation, high-speed I/O, and counting capabilities, including industrial control, consumer goods, alarms, motor control, etc.
