It is for safety reasons that these analog sensors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). For the protection of the analog sensors, they are packaged in 8-TSSOP, 8-MSOP (0.118, 3.00mm Width) packages. In order for this sensor to function properly, it has 8 pins. It contains 8 terminations. This sensor is designed to supply a maximum DC voltage of 5.5V. A magnetic switch in a DC circuit can supply a voltage of 3V. When an analog sensor is operational, it could supply a voltage of 5.5V.
