DS1822+ Overview
It is for safety reasons that these analog sensors are packaged in the Bulk. Analog sensors are protected from damage by TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) packages. The sensor has a pin count of 3 for proper operation. In this electronic component, there are 3 terminations. During normal operation, the analog sensors can supply 1mA current. This sensor should supply 5.5V in a DC circuit. In the DC circuit, however, this magnetic switch can provide a minimum voltage of 3V. A sensor like this works if it is supplied with 1mA current.
