1812L-050 Overview
For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in 1812 packages. Using PTC thermistors at -40°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. There must not be an increase in temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to work. PTC thermometers have 2 terminations. PTC thermistors have been designed to operate at 40A volts. In order to avoid overheating, PTC thermistors should be kept at a 40A current.
