Surface Mount makes it suitable for general RF Antennas.There are several Antenna RFs in the Splatch? series.Tube is the solid enclosure in which RF modulator is packaged.In most RF ic designs, it is qualified as a Surface Mount.Shipping overseas is convenient with the RF ic packed in SMD/SMT.Based on test statistics, the RF Antennas's minimal operating temperature would be -40°C.A temperature above 85°C is not suitable for operation of the RF Antennas.
