Compared to standard voltage regulators, this three-terminal positive adjustable voltage regulator is made to produce 1.5A with more efficiency. The dropout voltage is defined as a function of load current and the device is meant to operate to a 1 Volt input to output difference. This device is perfect for military applications where compact size and excellent dependability are required. It is available in simple-to-use hermetic TO-257, TO-3, and TO-39 packaging.
