KTY236 Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. In this thermistor, there are 3 pins. It is recommended that the thermistor supply voltage be kept at 25V for reliable performance.
