Infineons HybridPACKTM DC6 with ribbon bondedcooling structures is a variant of the HybridPACKTM1 power module family with increased continuouscurrent capability and a reduced stray inductance.Like all HybridPACKTM 1 products theHybridPACKTM DC6 with ribbon bonds is anautomotive qualified power module designed forelectric vehicle applications. Designed for a 150°Cjunction operation temperature, with a 30 hourlimited 175°C capacity the module accommodates a3-phase Six-Pack configuration ofTrench-Field-Stop IGBT3 and matching emittercontrolled diodes. The HybridPACKTM DC6 powermodule family is built on Infineons long timeexperience in the development of IGBT powermodules, intense research efforts of new materialcombinations and assembly technologies.HybridPACKTM DC6 with ribbon bonds is suitablefor direct liquid cooling. The copper base platecombined with high-performance ceramic substrateand Infineons enhanced wire-bonding processprovides unparalleled thermal and power cyclingcapabilityand highest reliability for mild hybridinverter or generator applications. For a compactdesign the driver stage PCB can easily be solderedon top of the module. All power connections arerealized with screw terminals.
