As a precaution, linear position measuring sensors are packaged in Rectangular packages in order to protect them from damage. An electronic component such as this one is packaged in the Bulk. Angle position measuring sensors can be set to -65°C at the minimum operating temperature in order to work properly. The operating temperature of angle position measuring sensors cannot exceed 105°C. Those linear position measuring sensors can oppose the passage of 6kOhms current. A linear position sensor's supply voltage cannot exceed 40V for safety reasons.
