DF40C-100DS-0.4V(51) Description
The space-saving DF40 series Board-to-Board and Board-to-FPC Connector has a minimum connector width but yet has enough vacuum space for simple pick-and-place placement. Numerous stack heights are available, adding versatility to any application in addition to its space-saving design. the following stack heights: 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, and 4 mm. The contacts offer significant contact forces and an effective mating length of 0.45 mm on the 1.5 mm stacking height despite their diminutive size and low profile. This connector employs a locking device to guard against inadvertent unmating problems and generates an audible and tactile click to confirm successful mating. This connector has a 0.33mm self-alignment tolerance thanks to the usage of guide ribs. Shock absorbing ribs have been added to both sides of the connector to strengthen it. To prevent potential solder wicking in the contact regions, nickel-plated barriers were introduced.
