A minimum operating temperature of -40°C is required so that an encoder works properly. There is, however, a maximum operating temperature of 85°C for this electronic part. 6 pins are present on the encoders. Encoder voltage is set to 5V by the electrical power system. During indefinite use, an encoder can carry only 30mA of current.
