BAS21-7-F Description
BAS21-7-F is a surface mount fast-switching diode. A switching diode provides the same functionality as a switch. It has high resistance below the specified applied voltage similar to an open switch, whereas above that voltage it changes suddenly to the low resistance of a closed switch. Switching diodes are designed to rectify high-frequency signals. Found in virtually every electronic application, switching diodes perform one of the most basic functions in a circuit.
