For space-saving purposes, this voltage regulator is available in the 16-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) package. 2 outputs of voltage regulator are configured. There are output pins on this DC DC switching regulator that generate Fixed output. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Surface Mount bracket. Voltage regulators should be operated at -40°C~85°C TA temperature while operating. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 40kHz. Input voltage 7V is the dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage required for operation of the voltage regulators. As a result, the output voltage of the voltage regulator 12v (Min/Fixed) is 4.95V. DC DC switching regulator's maximum design flexibility comes from its output current of 200mA. Voltage regulator has an input voltage (Max) of 36V. Ideally this switch regulator should have an output voltage of about 4.95V at the very least. In order to ensure switching regulator's stable operation, the maximum operating temperature 85°C is set at a high level.
