An overmolded dry reed switch is the CT05. It is of the SPST (single-pole, single throw) type and has ruthenium contacts that are typically open. The double-ended sensor can be activated by either an electromagnet, a permanent magnet, or both. The component comes in Gull Wing or J-bend lead configurations and is made for SMD mounting.
