Z8612912SSC Overview
An embedded encoder is contained in a 18-SOIC (0.295, 7.50mm Width) package.The encoder is recommended to be packed in a Tube case.I have mounted this motor encoder in the way of the Surface Mount axis.Video Decoder is the type.Set-Top Boxes, TV-connected encoders are suitable for it.The motor encoder is based on Z86129 family.In switching power supplies, the 4.75V~5.25V digital power of the optical encoder is applied to the circuit.The optical encoder comes with 18 terminations.The rotary encoders has 18 pins in total.It is mounted by Surface Mount.It is recommended that 4.75V exceeds the minimum voltage required for the supply.The electronic rotary encoders is from Other Consumer ICs family.In order to reach 5.25V, the highest supply voltage (Vsup) of the encoder motor needs to be reached.Remember that this encoder must be used under the operating temperature of 70°C in order to function properly.It is capable of supplying currents up to 30mA at a maximum rate.In order for this to work well, the frequency should be at 12MHz.I have noticed that the encoder definition has 1 on it.
