A supply voltage of 4.5V~5.5V will provide a good performance for encoders. The temperature of the encoder must not lower than -40°C in order for it to function normally. It is important to note, however, that this electronic part can reach a maximum operating temperature of 85°C. 5 pins are present on the encoders.
