LT1963AEQ is a low dropout regulator designed for fast transient response. With a dropout voltage of 340mV, the devices can deliver 1.5A of output current. The operating quiescent current is 1mA, and the shutdown current is 1A. Quiescent current is well-controlled; unlike many other regulators, it does not rise in dropout. The Analog Devices, Inc. LT1963A regulators offer a low output noise and fast transient response, making them excellent for sensitive RF supply applications. With output capacitors as low as 10F, the LT1963AEQ regulators are stable. Reverse battery protection, current limiting, heat limiting, and reverse current protection are all included in the internal protection circuitry.
