LT1761ES5-2.8#TR Description
The micropower, low noise, and low dropout regulators in the LT?1761 series. Over a bandwidth of 10Hz to 100kHz, output noise decreases to 20VRMS with an external 0.01F bypass capacitor. Because of the low 20-A quiescent current, they are perfect for use in battery-powered systems. Quiescent current falls to less than 0.1 A during shutdown. The devices can operate with input voltages ranging from 1.8V to 20V, and they have an output current capability of 100mA with a dropout voltage of 300mV. Quiescent current is well controlled and does not increase as a result of dropout as it does with many other regulators. With output capacitors as low as 1 F, the LT1761 regulators are stable. Without the necessary series resistance required by other regulators, small ceramic capacitors can be employed.
