ADSP-BF706BCPZ-4 Description
The ADSP-BF70x Blackfin Digital Signal Processor (DSP) product line includes the ADSP-BF706BCPZ-4. A cutting-edge signal processing engine is created by the new Blackfin+ processor core, which integrates dual-MAC 16-bit, 32-bit MAC, and 16-bit complex MAC. Additionally, it incorporates single-instruction, multiple-data (SIMD) multimedia capabilities and the benefits of a clear, orthogonal RISC-like microprocessor instruction set into a single instruction-set architecture. Branch prediction, cache improvements, and other additional features are added to the Blackfin+ core while still keeping instruction set compatibility with earlier Blackfin products.
