NTC thermistors should be set to -55°C~150°C temperature in order to provide reliable performance. A maximum operating temperature of 300°C ensures that NTC thermistors can operate reliably. In order to keep their reliability up, NTC thermistors can operate at -55°C. In the NTC thermometers, 750mW is the maximum power setting.
