PDV-V417 Overview
As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in Radial packages. Reverse-bias photodiodes can withstand a maximum of 10V in continuous reverse-bias mode. Photodiodes in reverse-bias mode should not continuously exceed 10V. It's important to have 15V breakdown voltage to make photodiodes work. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 3pA even without light input.
