PDB-C204 Overview
In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into TO-233AA, TO-8-3 Lens Top Metal Can packages. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 100V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 100V. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 2.5nA current even if no light is provided.
