A Tape & Reel (TR) package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. During the development of this harley voltage regulator, 3 terminations were made. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 30kHz. This voltage regulator is able to operate with the minimal input voltage of 0.9V. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 4.6V. DC DC switching regulator's maximum design flexibility comes from its output current of 300mA Switch. The maximum input voltage of this voltage regulator 12v is 10V. A regulator with this 260 peak reflow temperature is essentially indestructible. Voltage regulator is capable of giving voltage at 4.6V volts.
