Why do we use degree Celsius?

For science, even Americans use Celsius and Kelvin. The second reason is that the Kelvin scale may be used to express both extremely cold and hot temperatures on the same (positive numerical value scale). If you want to compare the temperature of liquid nitrogen and red-hot iron, the Kelvin scale is the way to go.Feb 23, 2016
