You don't need this shield to drive servo motors, they have their own controller, you need just a 5V power line, GND and digital output pin to generate a PWM and that's it. Usually Arduino has enough power to drive servo motors. This shield you are talking about is used for DC (direct current) and stepper motor.May 6, 2015');})();(function(){window.jsl.dh('8','');})();(function(){window.jsl.dh('_yqSbYIniG-K10PEPt6-QiAE44','
');})();(function(){window.jsl.dh('10','
The Arduino Motor Shield allows your arduino to drive DC and stepper motors, relays and solenoids. The Arduino Motor Shield is based on the L298 (datasheet), which is a dual full-bridge driver designed to drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors.
