You should use the liquid cooler instead of a heatsink. Both heatsinks and AIO liquid coolers serve to take heat away from the CPU and put it into the air. Heatsinks are usually cheaper, but liquid coolers work better. ... I use my Corsair Hydro Series h100i v2 just fine without a heat sink.
