RS-485 uses a single pair cable for half-duplex systems, but full-duplex implementation requires two signal pairs. A full-duplex system allows simultaneous transmission of data on one pair while receiving data on the other pair. A four-pair cable can be used to support implementation of two full duplex networks.Aug 21, 2018');})();(function(){window.jsl.dh('17','');})();(function(){window.jsl.dh('_TvObYLu5DpPw9APssJXoBg47','

RS-485 is an industrial specification that defines the electrical interface and physical layer for point-to-point communication of electrical devices. The RS-485 standard allows for long cabling distances in electrically noisy environments and can support multiple devices on the same bus.
