So, DDR3 is more than enough for games in 2020. Yes, it is good enough, however most motherboards these days use DDR4 ram. But if you still have a decent enough intel cpu and 16 gb of ddr3 ram you should be fine. ... DDR3 is kinda outdated in 2020, DDR4 is the latest , DDR5 is on the way already.
