Do I need true RMS multimeter?

When a multimeter is used to measure DC current, the result is accurate and straightforward. However, the same cannot be said for AC current. ... But if the AC current whose RMS value you want to measure is a pure sine wave, then you won't need a true RMS multimeter.Apr 29, 2017
