Can I use ECC memory on non ECC motherboard?

Buffered (+ ECC), and Registered (+ECC) memory types can NOT be used, as they are not compatible with the motherboard. To be certain of memory compatibility, suggest using standard unbuffered (non ECC) memory, which the motherboard has been designed for.Jul 24, 2015
