How do I connect my VGA monitor to HDMI?

The reason is pretty simple - HDMI is a digital signal, VGA is analog; an analog display simply can't negotiate a handshake with a copy-protected source. Greg is right - copy protection is the main reason an HDMI to VGA cable wouldn't work. We sell a lot of different AV stuff, including HDMI converters.
