How many amps can a JST connector handle?

JST connectors are only safe up to two (2) amps. Anything over that and they can melt down and fuse destroying the entire system. JR plugs, the ones that look like servo plugs with two or three pin outs can handle as much as five (5) amps, and the Dean's micros can take up to fifteen (15) amps.Jul 7, 2008
