Write Data Bytes (WRITE)

TheWriteDataBytes(WRITE)commandallowsdatabytestobewrittenstartingatanaddressspecifiedby

the24-bitaddress.Onlyaddressbits0-16aredecodedbythememory.Thedatabytesarewrittensequen-

tiallyinmemoryuntilthewriteoperationisterminatedbybringingCShigh.Theentirememorycanbe

writteninasinglecommand.Theaddresscounterwillrolloverto0000hwhentheaddressreachesthetop

ofmemory.

UnlikeEEPROMorFlashMemory,MRAMcanwritedatabytescontinuouslyatitsmaximumratedclock

speedwithoutwritedelaysordatapolling.BacktobackWRITEcommandstoanyrandomlocationinmem-

orycanbeexecutedwithoutwritedelay.MRAMisarandomaccessmemoryratherthanapage,sector,or

blockorganizedmemorysoitisidealforbothprogramanddatastorage.

TheWRITEcommandisenteredbydrivingCSlow,sendingthecommandcode,andthensequentialwrite

databytes.Writescontinueaslongasthememoryisclocked.ThecommandisterminatedbybringingCS

high.
