Does voltage matter on RAM?

Generally - the faster the ram performs (lower latency) the ram will run at a bit higher voltage to be stable. More voltage does mean more heat however. As long as the motherboard allows you changing the voltage to the voltage the ram is - you should be fine.Apr 17, 2007
